
























Originally called "Taboo", I finally decided to rename this stool "Albert". Albert, because those stools I have from my family , were in the painting workshop of one great uncle. Albert Coste was born in 1895 in Marseille and his studio was located in Aix en Provence. His works and studies have turned a lot around the “music of colors” and you can find some photographs of his paintings on the web. I knew him when I was a child and we did not appreciate ourselves that much , but I guess , i was too young to realize how much he could teach me about colors , shapes , textures …art and life in general. And when I started to draw my own stool, I used those of his workshop, that are now in mine.
